Topics Covered

Theoretical and practical notions of Wilderness First Aid, more specifically the Patient Assessment System (PAS), leadership, the duties, and responsibilities of the rescuer, injury prevention, medical emergencies, wound care, and trauma management.

Recertification

This online recertification is valid for 60 days*.  You therefore have up to 60 days to complete the second part of this recert, the Hybrid Recert- Wilderness First Aid SRI-20/SARI-40 module (Practical Session), which will earn you a 3-year certification (once the practical session is completed).

*Note COVID- the online session provides a temporary extension to your current certification, valid until Nov 30, 2020, which is the deadline to participate in the practical session.
